Celebrate Jewish Experiences as a Family

Join fellow families in celebrating Jewish holidays and Shabbat throughout the year at Jewish Gateways events led by Rabbi Steph Kennedy.

 

Experience a vibrant mix of music, storytelling, movement, and hands-on activities in a relaxed setting, perfect for young children and their families.

These gatherings are designed for families with children aged 1-5, though older and younger siblings are warmly welcomed.

We Welcome All: Interfaith, intercultural, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, low-income, single parents, grandparents, Jew-ish, Jews by choice, non-Jews, cultural and secular Jews.

No Jewish knowledge or experience necessary.

Get your shake on! Join Rabbi Stephanie Kennedy and other Jewish organizations for a fun and interactive afternoon. Shake a lulav and etrog, grind some wheat, make pickles, create multicultural sukkah decorations, play games, and more!

 

This program is geared for children 2-8 years.


We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.

Music Havdalah in the Park

Join Rabbi Stephanie Kennedy, along with PJ Library and Tkiya, for a musical havdalah in the park! Havdalah is the ceremony that marks the end of Shabbat and the beginning of a new week. Perfect for babies through elementary-aged kids, this event features live music from Tkiya, crafts, snacks, and PJ Library books to take home. It’s a great way to unwind and enjoy community—come hang out with us!
